Helen Civitello wrote a sympathy message

“Harold made a difference in the lives of our veterans, and especially the Native American veterans. Through his work on the Native American Working Group for the VA Readjustment Counseling Service, he assisted in publishing a meaningful and respectful guide to helping to heal Native American veterans with PTSD. It was a honor to work with him at the Oklahoma Vet Center. My prayers are with the family and his loved ones during this time of loss. Helen Civitello (née Engebretson)”
