He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nimsey, Jr. and Anna Sue Whitehorse Nimsey; his wife Elaine; his pet Mona Doere; his children, Brooke Michael and Kacey Chaino; and his grandparents, James Nimsey, Sr., Susie Redbone Tselee, Charlie, Laura Pau-K'au and Whitehorse.
He is survived by: his children, Mia Beaver, Kristen Nimsey (KC), Earley Harjo, Sunshine Fixico and Silver Sky Herron; and his siblings, Reed Nimsey and Blair Doyeto. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren 5 great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ray & Martha's Funeral Home (1115 S Mission St, Anadarko, OK 73005). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Apache Community Building. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Redbone - Tselee Cemetery.
