He is survived by: his children, Luke Taptto, Alisa Kanteena, Tara Jean Taptto, Henwanna Taptto and Davita Taptto; and his siblings, Woody Taptto, Peter John, Della Blackstar, Sharon Taptto and Linda Taptto. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
