With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sonya Summers Tyau of Ames, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 16, 2021 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Stanley Summers; and her sister Jo Summers. She is survived by: her parent Jtonne Summers; her children, Tani of Lewisville, TX and Payne (Caitlin) of Dallas, TX; and her sisters, Kim McCoy (Jim) and Karla Creason (Ron).
