She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Lila (Fyffe) and Adrian Lee McKinney; her son Larry Lee DeHaas; her son-in-law Charles Cooper; and her daughter Sheryl Sue Cooper.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Lyn Meyer (Will) of Ames; her brother Robert McKinney (Holly) of Clemmons, NC; and her grandchildren, Toni White (Joseph) of Edmond, Ray Cooper of Shreveport, LA, Elizabeth Kerl, Jennifer Short (Eric) of Weatherford, Barry DeHaas (Christina) of Edmond, Sandra DeHaas of Calumet, Nathan Meyer of Ames, Wyatt Meyer of Enid and Logan Meyer of Ames. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Ruth's name may be made to the Ames Christian Church or the Ames Volunteer Fire Department with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
