We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2021, at the age of 85, Gerald E. Detrick of Ames, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Detrick and Christina Detrick (McCracken); his brother Dean (Karen Detrick); his brother-in-law Cecil Womack; and his great-niece Sofia Clayton.
He is survived by: his children, Wesley Detrick (Shari) of Bel Aire, KS, Bret Detrick (Heidi) of New Hudson, MI and Jana Oister (Glenn) of Cherokee, OK.; his grandchildren, Mary Friesen (Jordan), Allison, Ryan, Heather, Holly Detrick, Christine Cox (Ben), Katie, Calvin Detrick, Benjamin and Baylee Oister; his great grandchildren, Judah and Lucy Friesen; his siblings, Karen Womack of Enid, OK and Terry Detrick (Rita) of Lahoma, OK; and his brother-in-law Don Pitts (Carole) of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Clearview with the funeral home acting as custodians of the fund.
