She was predeceased by: her husband Daryl Dean Mason; her son Charles Andrew Mason; her mother Mabel; her siblings, Charles, Bill, Gene and Mary Durdle; and her niece Lisa Pherigo.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Fielder (T. J.) of Ames, Gail Mason of Enid, Gary Mason (Jan) of Belle Plaine, KS and Pam Quimby (Gary) of Hennessey; her grandchildren, Tina Bode (Bill) of Ames, Jessica Wheeler (Chris) of Enid, Jamie Roberts (Jason) of Enid, Jodie Fazendine (Matt) of Jenks, Nicole Mason of Tulsa, Cody Quimby (Ashley) of Edmond, Kelli Hamen (Coty) of Yukon, Andrew Mason (Trisha) of Belle Plains, KS, Ashle Bode (Anna) of Bakersfield, CA and Mason Bode of Ames; her great grandchildren, Jordynne Skinner, Justin Skinner, Nathan Skinner, Jayson Skinner, Ciara Roberts, Isaac Roberts, Sydney Fazendine, Ava Fazendine, Misty Mason, Hoyt Hamen, Hagen Hamen, Burkli Quimby and Alberic Quimby; and her sisters, Elizabeth Fortney of Delavan, IL and Annice Kammeyer of Mason City, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ames Cemetery. A reception was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ames Wildcat Center (108 E Corporate Dr, Ames, OK 73718).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made through the Fairview Funeral Home to the ALS Society, American Cancer Society or the Ringwood Fire Department.
