We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2021, at the age of 91, Alta Wood of Ames, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Walmer and Charlotte Walmer (Doty); and her husband Harold "Dean" Wood. She is survived by: her children, Skip Wood (De) of Wheatland, OK, Julie Mason (Jerry) of Ringwood, OK and Kim Edmondson (Kirby) of Edmond, OK; her grandchildren, Chaney Hale, Dana Hartfiel, Lori Dankenbring (Brad), Traci Stiefer (Jody), Jacque Mason, Brandon Edmondson (Stephanie), Lindsey Higgins (James) and Whitney Hartman (Lance); her great grandchildren, Riley, Patrick, Kristyn, Lauren, Kyle, Shaylee (Kyle), Zack, Mikayla, Kira, Peyton, Brooklyn, Wyatt, Sadie, Kelby, Oliver and Charlotte June; her great great grandchild Cory; her siblings, Isabell "Toots" Dennis and John "Buck" Walmer; and her sister-in-law Jean Dyche.
Memorial donations can be given to Ames Cemetery or Ames Fire Department with Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
