He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank David and Beulah Mae McMurphy (Lyon); his siblings, Darold McMurphy (Cleta Ann) and Doris Lockhart (Jim); and his daughter-in-law Monica McMurphy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Louise James; his children, Linda McMurphy of Alva, Keith McMurphy of Tuttle, Lisa McMurphy of Alva and Mary Margaret Miller (Todd) of Edmond; his grandchildren, Brooks McMurphy (Ashlinn) and Evan Nicole McMurphy of Yukon; and his great grandchildren, Claire Iva and Cooper Verlin McMurphy of Tuttle. He is also survived by granddaughters, and eight bonus great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Senior Citizen's Center, the First United Methodist Church, the Cherokee Strip Museum, or the charity of your choice.
