He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Sylvanis and Ruby Alice Perks (Harding); his son Joshua Perks; and his brothers, Bobby Joe Perks, Rick Perks and Alfred Perks.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Abbott of Alva; his daughter Sarah Perks of Hardtner, Kansas; his grandsons, Cash of Hardtner, Kansas, Cody of Hardtner, Kansas, Carter of Hardtner, Kansas and Clutch of Hardtner, Kansas; and his siblings, Ray Perks of Alva, Norma (G. D.) of Laverne and Sherry Kirkpatrick (Danny) of Guthrie. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
