He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas William (T. W.) and Mary Beth Mitchell (Bachtold); his siblings, Thomas Mitchell, Harold Mitchell, Joan Kennedy, Patricia Mitchell and Kathy Mitchell Porschien; and his son-in-law Vaughn Rader.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Mitchell of Freedom; his children, Kelly Mitchell (Debbie) of Freedom and Kimberlee Rader (Bryan Kirk) of Alva; his brother Nathaniel Mitchell (Penny) of Tehachapi, California; and his grandsons, Mitchell Rader (Hayden) of Alva and Logan Rader of Enid. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
