He was predeceased by: his father James A. "Bub"; his son Jay Linder; his mother Lorene Linder (Rose); his parents-in-law, Clarence and Mary Berry; his brother Jim Linder; and his aunts, Tenne Linder, Olive Linder and Pearl English Crane.
He is survived by: his wife Wylodean Berry of Tipton, Oklahoma.; his children, Jana Pitt, Jon Linder and Julia Schrock (Kelly); his grandchildren, Kelli Vinyard (Justin), Tyler Crawford (Brooke), Sean Pitt (Payten) and Kaleb Schrock; his great grandchildren, Nolan Dean and Gracyn Vinyard; and his sister Carolyn Calvery (Bob).
In lieu of flowers, the family request a memorial contribution to the Dean Linder Broadcast Scholarship, NW Foundation and Alumni Association or the First Christian Church Desciples of Christ, Alva.
