He is survived by: his wife Beth Spence of Alva; his children, Sheldon Spence (Jenny) of Norman, Martha Higgins (Chad) of Stillwater, Dak Spence of Alva and Ruth Stephenson (Ray) of Manhattan, Kansas; his brother Bill Spence (Brenda) of Guymon; and his grandchildren, Malia Higgins, Mark Spence and Brady Spence. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
