He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Harold and Gladys E. Demaree (Burd); his children, Lowell Brian Demaree, Cheryl Demaree and Michelle Demaree; and his siblings, Thurl Demaree, Dean Demaree and Barbara Molesworth.
He is survived by: his former wife Priscilla Szohner; his wife Carolyn Strickland of Alva; his daughters, Sandy Gleyre of Alva and Theresa Blalock (Don) of Chester; his stepchildren, Karie Parsons (Jon) of Shawnee and David Lee Odell of Sarasota, Florida; his nieces, Lorie Hessler of Stockton and Kathy Hafliger of Hayes, Kansas.; and his grandchildren, Kara Kirkham (Ian) of Alva, Krystofer Gleyre (Stephanie) of Alva, Christa Fraire (Tino) of Alva, Stacia Cates (Theron) of Balko, Rachel Cunningham (Trevor) of Alva, Cassie Gordon of Denver, Michael Duval (Heather) of Oklahoma City, Marcus Duffy (Laura) of Denver, Matthew Duffy of Oklahoma City, Johnny Duffy (Chelsea) of Seiling, Donald Blalock of Chester, Maree Gerolymatos (Peter) of Kansas City, Oliver Parsons (Courtnie) of San Antonio, Kaelynn Parsons (Jeff Bryant) of Shawnee, Maegann Parsons (Tara Sears) of Denver and Stacey Shertz. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
