We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Lawrence Reigh Shelite of Alva, Oklahoma, born in Sharon, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rudolph and Myrtle Shelite (Shurts); and his siblings, Mary Shedd, Mildred "Millie" Tate, Richard "Rich" Shelite, Robert "Bob" Shelite, Chester "Chet" Shelite, Velma "Vee" Haas and Everett Shelite.
He is survived by: his wife Frieda Faye Lieswald; his children, Misti Knopf (Floyd) of Burlington, Faye Lilly (Kenneth) of Marlow and Kevin Wilkinson of Elk City; his grandchildren, Lakin Kastl (Zak) of Yukon, Tom Knopf (Taylor) of Alva and Jordan Lilly of Austin, TX; and his great grandchildren, Wilsy Faye Kastl and Theo Knopf. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home of Alva (230 Flynn St, Alva, OK 73717). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Town and Country Christian Church (829 Church St, Alva, OK 73717).
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Town and Country Christian Church.
