He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Cox and Blanche Cox (Cushenbery); and his grandparents, Ben, Bessie Cox, Fred and Dora Cushenbery.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Helton of Alva; his daughter Beth Cox (Ronnie Hoskins); his brother Joe Cox of Kiowa, Kansas; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Bartlow (Mel) of Marble Falls, Arkansas, Earnest Helton of Winfield, Kansas and Patsy Boswell Helton of Rockwall, Texas. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Alva Volunteer Firefighters or the Alva Senior Citizens.
