Bruce Lee Stansberry Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Lee Stansberry of Alva, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Majel Marceille Stansberry (Lowrey); his sisters, Nada Jo Stoops and Nedra June Arnett; and his nephew John Wayne Dulaney.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie; his children, Jon Chris Stansberry (Tara Quinton) and Lori Lynn Stansberry-Louthan of Freedom; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Lee Stansberry, Morgan Fitzgerald, Shelby Jo Stansberry, Russell Rice, Cooper Johnson Stansberry, Brianna Leu Carver (Jeremy), Sydnee Rae Louthan and Michael McDonald; his great grandchild Juniper Lynn Marie Carver; and his sister Shona Sue Blakeley (Kim). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home of Alva (230 Flynn St, Alva, OK 73717). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Freedom Methodist Church (800 Eagle Pass, Freedom, OK 73842).
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Hatch-Vincent Post 63 American Legion or Freedom Methodist Church.
