It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vida R. Cavener (Altus, Oklahoma), born in Montague, Texas, who passed away on July 13, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemmon Houston Sitton and Bessie Mae Robins Sitton; her husband Gerald Wayne Cavener; her daughter Carolyn; and her grandson Craig.

She is survived by: her nieces, Lee Leverett and Clara Hill; and her stepchildren, Becky Denham (Dan), Ricky Cavener (LeeAnn), Gregg Cavener (Debra) and Scott Cavener (Kathy).

Memorials are suggested to Jackson County Home Health and Hospice.
