He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Lowell and Julius Clifton Lowell, Sr.; and his brother Jay Lowell. He is survived by: his wife Ada Lowell; his children, Angela Lowell and Kelly Lowell (Stacie) of Rogers, Arkansas; his sister Emily Sue Lacy (Leon) of Blanchard, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Clara Smith (Ross), Elizabeth Brown, Mary Grace Brown, Frank Lowell, Seth Lowell Nebling, Joseph Lowell, Charles Lowell, Margaret Lowell, Evelyn Lowell and Bernadette Lowell; and his great grandchildren, Emery, Elena Smith and Makenna Chesnut of Rogers, Arkansas..
He was a 32nd Degree Mason in the Masonic Lodge of Altus, served on the board of directors for Jackson County Memorial Hospital, as well as the Western Oklahoma State College Foundation.
