He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James and Lulla Mae Dodson (Motheral); his sister Jessie Lou Austin; and his daughter-in-law Amy (Judy Dodson). He is survived by: his wife Judy Ann Thompson; his children, Debbie Cox (Robert), Mark Dodson (Lisa) and Scott Dodson; his grandchildren, Carly McDavid (Shawn), Marissa Dodson, Lauren Turner (Will), Allison Ridley (Garret), Cooper Dodson, Chloe Shive (Keegan) and Kendall Dodson; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer McDavid, Brodie Ridley, Payton McDavid, Blaire Ridley, Isabelle Turner and Baylor Ridley.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (317 N Main St, Altus, OK 73521).
