“When I saw Jackie's obit on the net, I couldn't believe it. I sat still for quite a while as I tried to process the information. I had no idea that he was ill. I remember him as a jovial guy who hung out with his brother Lynn when we would have Sunday dinner at the home of Granny (a.k.a. Dorothy Dickerson). In my mind's eye he is still in his 30's (even though 68 is too young to die imo). I extend my heartfelt condolences to Pat, Gary, and David. R.I.P. Jackie Dean Dickerson.”
