He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Mendiola and Dora Howell; his sons, Bobby Joe Mendiola, Jr., Seth Meads, Dillon Meads and Brother James (Chasity Howell); his sisters, Shelly (Jose Arce) and Clarissa (Malcom Dash); and his granddaughter Maddie Meads. He was also cherished by ten nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews, one great-great niece, numerous cousins and other extended family.
