He was predeceased by: his father Freddie B. Nickell. He is survived by: his mother Joy D. Nickell (Johnson) of Allen; his children, Shane Nickell of Oklahoma City, Derrick Nickell of Oklahoma City, Rachel Jones of Ada and Tika Nickell of Lawton; and his siblings, Brian Nickell of Allen, Jerry Nickell of Allen and Peggy Brown of Kalihoma. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.
