As Arles departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Arles. Though Arles may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arles D. Wells and Betty McCoy Wells. He is survived by: his children, Arles Wells, Jr. of Lewisville, TX and Paula Sankey of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; his siblings, Russell Ogle (Sue) of Ada, Johnny Wells (Virginia Hall) and Linda Holcomb (Robert) of Carrollton, TX; his grandson Dylan Sankey of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and his pet Luda. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen Chapel (403 E Broadway, Allen, OK 74825). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Allen Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rocky Top Winery (7569 E W 148 Rd, Allen, OK 74825).
