Maxine Stewart Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2021, at the age of 93, Maxine Stewart (Alex, Oklahoma), born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Andrew Welch and Blanche Welch; her husband Leonard; her sister Clara DeArmond (Jerb); and her grandchildren, Cody Alexander, Connor Frieling, Shandy Stewart and Lacey Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Ann Stewart Watts, Patricia Raelene Stewart (Mills), Jimmy Lyle Stewart (Donna), Danny Lee Stewart, Judy (Mike Sr.) and Dan (Candy); her nephews, Harold Ray DeArmond (Sonny) and Sterling Lynn DeArmond; and her great-nephew Tommy. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Research Center in Memphis, TN or the Berean Children's Home in Bogue Chitto, MS.
