He is survived by: his children, James Darrell Poteet Jr. (Dawn) of Agra and Debbie Cooper (Chris); his sister Carole Hartgrave of Agra; his grandchildren, Anihtra Watkins, Brandon, Jameson Poteet, Chrissy Whitten, Michael, Jarrod Cooper, Kristen, Michial Poteet Jr., Jene, Kaylee Berryhill and Brad; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Watkins, Annelise Watkins, Scarlet Watkins, Aden, Chadwick Poteet, Piper, Daphne Whitten, Cali, Caleb Cooper, Michial Poteet III, Mallory Poteet and Harley Jo Berryhill. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
