He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ackley and Helen Ackley; his uncles, Tom Ackley and Bill Ackley; and his grandparents, Pete Ackley, Jim and Idella Giles.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Ackley of Salina, Dustin Ackley of Salina, Derrick Ackley of Enid, Richard "Sonny" Leach of Gillette, Wyoming and Bethania "Shelly" Ackley of Pryor; and his brothers, Roger Ackley (Annette) of Adair and Kenny Ackley of Chouteau. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; as well as many extended family.
