It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Larry Sloan of Ada, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Archie and Alice Beatrice Putman Sloan; his wife Gayle Sloan; his daughter Shawna Kay Sloan of Cheyenne, OK; and his sister Mary Lestus.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sonya Carpenter (Gary Gregg) of Byng and Sharmin Hinson of Ada; his brother Marion Craig of Byng; his son-in-law Michael Leddy; his close friend Terri Prewitt; his sister Loretta Jane Craig of Byng; his grandchildren, Sasha Carpenter, Shanna Ross, Cody Hinson, Tailer Hinson, Sterling Gregg, Hunter Leddy, Coda Leddy and Michael Leddy, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Isis Sloan, Brooklynn Ross, Brighton Ross, Bentley Ross and Meadow Hinson; and his great great grandchild Siyere Sloan.
