She was predeceased by: her parents, Dayton Kirkendall and Dorothy Ellidge Kirkendall; her daughter April Flowers Vickery; and her brother Dayton Michael Kirkendall. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Easter; her son John Flowers (Tabatha Prewett); her sister Martha Garrett; and her grandchildren, Stefan Flowers, Thomas Vaughn II, Brittany Vaughn, Malissa Vaughn, Damion Hardcastle and Rayden Prewett. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
