He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Sims and Dena Coots Sims. He is survived by: his wife Doris Harlin; his children, Lewis Darrell Sims of Ada, Steven Sims of Konawa and Tina McConnell of Stuart; his sisters, Peggy Harber of Ada and Mildred Kepler of Missouri; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Gregrich, Jacee Guerin, Aaron Sims, Samantha Sims and Taylor Sims. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Criswell Funeral Home Chapel (815 Arlington St, Ada, OK 74820).
