He was predeceased by: his parents, Buenos A. Sipes and Virginia Catherine O'Quinn Sipes; and his siblings, Shirley Sipes, Jerry Sipes and Bud Sipes.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Jodi Ufimtsev (Vlad) of Ada, Jennifer Marsh (Jordan) of Konawa, Khristi Hamilton (John) of Atoka, Tonya White (Elton) of Salina and Jimmy Alexander of Atoka; his siblings, Roger Sipes of Atoka and Regina McDonald (Don) of Norman; his grandchildren, Lucchese Marsh and Austyn Marsh; and his stepchildren, Dr. Michael White of Temple and Tammy O'Dell of Asher. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
