He was predeceased by: his parents, William Newell and Zoe Constance Hymer Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Barnes of Ada; his siblings, Bob Barnes, Susan Langraf of Texas, Cheryl Sosbee of South Carolina, Virginia Gatlin of Texas and Karolyn Nunnery of Texas; and his sister-in-law Remona McQueen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel (815 Arlington St, Ada, OK 74820).
