He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Quitman and Lois Edna Brashears (Holland); his wife Anne Margaret Dockerill; his daughter Theresa Buxton; and his brother David.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Brashears (Kim) of Stonewall, Stephen Dockerill of Ada and Lisa Brashears of Ada; his sister Pamela Brashears of Ada; and his grandchildren, Jessie Nolen, Danielle Masoner (Joel), Christina York (Jake), Ryan Brashears, Aron Cloud (Colton), Justin Brashears (Skilar), Tara Brashears, Jordan King (Tyler) and Taylor Anderson (Andrew).
