He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Franklin Jared, Sr. and Dora Lowe Jared; his son Ronnie Jared; and his siblings, Glossye Isaacs, Lavonia Deaton, Vivian Jared, Keith H. "Pete" Jared and Margaret Melville.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Jared; his daughter-in-law Melody Kappauf; and his granddaughters, Raetchel Gray and Meleaia Gray.
