He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyntch Arpelar and Lottie Mae Arpelar (Harp); his wife Jan Arpelar; his granddaughter Janae Arpelar; and his siblings, Willie Stormes, Lonita "Pokie" Pitchlynn, Ruth Cunningham, Josie Adams, Beatrice Pace, Clarence Arpelar and Lyntch Arpelar, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Gina Arpelar Lewis, Rick Arpelar and Eric Arpelar (Medina); his grandchildren, Tonya Brown (Kendall), Cody Lewis (Casie), Carissa Arpelar and Zane Arpelar; and his great grandchildren, Addison Moore, Landry Schreffler, Caylee Lewis, Camden Lewis, Kayden Brown, Kaine Brown and Karsen Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home (528 S 3rd St, McAlester, OK 74501). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
