He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Allen and Jesse Lee Carpenter (Barker); and his siblings, Boots Carpenter (Edward), William Taylor, Robert Taylor, Nellie Brooks and Joann Muck.
He is survived by: his wife Debby Capps; his siblings, Jimmy Taylor (Kristen) of Mansfield Texas and Tempie Johnson of New Boston, Texas.; his great-nieces, Kacie and Kiercie Greenwood; his friends, Kevin Conn, Nathan Dial, Gil Ragland and Ronnie Anglin; his sister Geraldine Anderson; and his daughter Sunny Baxter.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (123 E 13th St, Ada, OK 74820).
