He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gilbert Marris and Bessie Marris (Johnson); his sister Fannie Marris Grant of Tulsa; his nieces and nephews, Sheila Marris Johnson of Durant, Marcella Grant, Noble Grant, Jr. of Tulsa, Michael of Durant, Reuben Marris of Durant and Tommie Marris of La Puenta, California.; his brothers, Junior Lee Marris, Charley Glen Marris, Thomas Lee Marris and Woodrow Marris; his grandparents, Sanderson, Lena Marris, Tatum and Marceline Johnson; his brother-in-law Noble; and his great-nephews, Larry Marris and Hubert Lee Marris.
