We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2024, at the age of 79, Billie Jean Hughes of Achille, Oklahoma, born in Boswell, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. J. Lewellan and Ethel Lewellen (Cooper); her husbands, Alfred Hughes (Johnny) and Buddy Williams; her daughter Bonnie West; and her sisters, Virgie Crippin and Charlene Barnett.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Sledge (Deborah) of Denison, TX, Brenda Shadden (Rick) of Wagoner, OK and Lisa Johnston (Steven) of Colbert, OK; and her siblings, Lorene Crow of Colbert, OK, Linda Gregg (Steve) of Pottsboro, TX and Kenneth Lewellen of Colbert, OK. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly, other extended family and friends.
