She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tice and Laura Tice (Smart); her husband James Sayre; and her brothers, Carl Tice (Robin), Paul Tice and William Tice (Cathy).

She is survived by: her sons, James A. II Sayre (Tina M.) of Massillon, Joseph A. Sayre (Lou A.) of Dover and Charles E. Sayre (Kelly J.) of Dover; her grandson James A. Sayre III of Massillon; and her siblings, Lester Tice (Janice) of Dover, Jeff Tice (Annie) of Canton and Patricia McDiffitt (David) of Mineral City.
