He is survived by: his wife Joy Kirkbride Miller; his children, Joe Miller (Mary Dupler), James Miller and Julie Huntsman (Justin); his brother James P. Miller (Paulette); his grandchildren, Wyatt Miller, Cheyenne Miller, Merisa Mills and Maddox Gibbs (Grace Dupler); and his great grandchild Oliver Miller. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
