He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Godby; his son Bill Godby; his siblings, Richard Godby (Jane), Phyllis Peck (Monte), Joyce Braido, Annabelle Crabtree and Virginia Headley; and his brother-in-law Monte Peck.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Smith (John); his siblings, Elmer Godby (Margaret), John Godby (Nancy) and Cathy Seeley; and his brother-in-law Bob Crabtree. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snouffer Funeral Home (1150 Military Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Snouffer Chapel (1150 Military Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701).
