He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Edward Gheen and Clara Elizabeth Samson; and his siblings, Sonny Gheen, Larry Gheen, Carl Gheen, John Thomas Gheen, Mike Gheen, Joyce Miller, Roxanne Gheen and Alice Myrtle.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Gheen Jr., Jeremy Gheen, Dewayne Gheen, Lucas Gheen, Eddy Erwin, Roy Gheen, Ashley Adams, Beth Hartman, Kristin Judson and Westin Gheen; his wife Virginia "Jenny" Logan; his siblings, Bill Gheen, Don Gheen, Raymond Gheen, Chuck Gheen, Eddie Gheen and Rosie Tanner; and his close friends, Ervin "Wimpy" Carnes II and Robert Miller. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
