She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" West and Sylvia L Alexander Chapman; her husband Richard L. Barker; and her sons, Larry E. Barker and Charles Barker.

She is survived by: her children, James Barker (Linda), Keith Barker (Sheri), Dan Barker (Sharon), Judy Pyle (Ron), Sheila Russell and Christie Williams (Jerry); her brother William Warren West of Florida; and her great grandchild John J. Smith. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
