He was predeceased by: his mother Georgianna Jones (Alexander); his siblings, Rebecca Brown and Maurice Jones; his daughter Chelsea Jones Gates; and his grandchild Sha'mez Gates (Shalawn Haveren).
He is survived by: his father Sylvester Jones Jr. (Lois); his wife Wanda Jones (Quinnie); his children, Christopher Miller, Lamont Jones, Ish Howe, Brandon Norris, Nathaniel Jones (Kim), E'lena Jones, Jamal Jones, Mary Ellen Hill, Jamie Thomas and Salica Thomas; and his siblings, Magdaline Sellers (Beany), Barnard Brown (Cora), Ellen Brown, Beverly Sowers (Justine), Nathaniel Jones, Sonya Jones, James Jones, Christine Jones, Coressa Key (Larry), Carmen Jones, Michael Jones (Cheryl) and Timothy Jones (Danielle). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Jackson Street Civic Center (928 Jackson St, Zanesville, OH 43701).
