She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert R. Paynter and Wilma R. Paynter (Nicholson); her siblings, Robert Paynter Jr., Roy Paynter, Ronnie Paynter, Richard Paynter, David Paynter, Kenny Paynter, Carol Wolfe and Susan Shriner; and her nephew Dylan Paynter.

She is survived by : her husband Dale Johnson; her children, Kayla Echelberry (Justin Barnhouse) and Josh Johnson (Crystal Henry); her brothers, John Paynter (Brandy) and William Paynter (Melodie); and her grandchildren, Serenity and Laycie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home (56 S 5th St, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
