She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clarence and Venelia Blanche Nelson Hina; her husband Virgil Lavy of Lavy's Carpet; her daughter Marsha Waxler; her siblings, William Hina, Fred Hina and Margaret Hina; and her grandchildren, Daniela Waxler, Tammy Lavy, Ashley Rose Myers and Nathan Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lavy (Brenda), Richard Lavy, Steven Lavy (Amy), Karen White, Virginia Feick (Ron) and Pamela Lavy; her sister Wanda Gallis; her son-in-law Dan Waxler; her grandchildren, Brent Lavy, Josh Lavy, Shae Adams, Chuck Lavy, Rusty Lavy, Susan Lavy, Jennifer Stoops, Michele Knight, Jason Knight, Justin White, Travis White, Todd Waxler, Mandy Samson, Nicholas Adkins, Christopher Adkins, Dana Lavy and Brady Lavy; and her close friend Barb Power. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Snouffer Funeral Home (1150 Military Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
