He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Lavy and Rozena Hina Lavy; and his sister Marsha Waxler. He is survived by: his children, Brent Lavy (Diana), Josh Lavy (Brandy) and Shae Adams (Jeffrey); his siblings, Robert Lavy (Brenda), Steven Lavy (Amy), Karen White, Virginia Feick (Ron) and Pamela Lavy; his brother-in-law Dan Waxler; his grandchildren, Kalynn Moorehead (Kevin), Sarah Browning (Kolland), Hunter Lavy (Kylie Bare), Airah Lavy, Gavin Lavy and Blake Adams; and his great grandchildren, Trinity, Kolton, Amara and Charlotte.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Coburn United Methodist Church (3618 Maple Ave, Zanesville, OH 43701).
