She was predeceased by: her parent Bonnie G. Murakami (Jacobs). She is survived by: her parent Gary M. Jacobs; her husband Joe Cox; her children, Chase Jordan Cox and Taylor Nicole Cox; her siblings, Christina Jacobs, Kimberly Jacobs (Raymond Compton) and David Jacobs; her stepfather Alan Murakami of Arizona; and her aunt Norma Nickell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
