Nancy L. Chappelear Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy L. Chappelear (Zanesville, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chipps and Edith Chipps; her brother Bill Chipps; her uncle Bob Doak; her brother-in-law Ralph Anguish; and her great-niece Gracie Belle Harmon.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Chappelear of Zanesville; her children, Rhonda Pennington (Matt) of Zanesville and Jerry Chappelear of Roseville; her grandsons, Aaron Chappelear, Cole Pennington and Clay Pennington; her brother Larry Chipps (Mary Ellen) of McConnelsville; her sister-in-law Donna Chipps of Beverly; her great-aunt Annabel Rohrer of Hilliard; her sister-in-law Irma Anguish of Snellville, GA; her brother Harmon; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Thomas of Malta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burrell Funeral Services (414 La Salle St, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Concord Church of Christ (13333 Maple Ln, New Concord, OH 43762).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's honor to New Concord church of Christ.
