He is survived by: his parent Mary Eleanor Ewing Mercer; his wife Gina Walcott Mercer; his children, Steven Mercer (Beth) of Zanesville and Brittany McConnell (Eric) of Whitehall; his grandchildren, Avri, Xander, Mikal and Riley; and his sister Debbie Melvin of Zanesville.
